The North Court in Second Street Studios consists of four buildings totaling 20,000 square feet in 22 mixed use units. Each of the buildings opens onto a landscaped courtyard, served by three separate drives from Second Street, with adequate parking on the back and side of each structure. All of the ground floor units have reserved parking adjoining the entrance or garage door. There is a mix of live/work spaces at 1,300 square feet each and smaller 600 square foot spaces that can be used for offices, galleries, shops, warehouses, light manufacturing or artist studios.
All ground floor units have handicap-access bathrooms which allows any public access use. There is Cat 5 high speed internet cable to each unit dispersed to several outlets within the unit. There is full sprinkler fire protection in all eight of the 1,300 square foot live/work units. The North Court completes the Second Street Studios community, with approximately 100,000 total square feet spread over 100 separate rental spaces, all connected to each other by tree shaded walkways and adjoining landscaped courtyards.

Zoning and Allowed Uses
The zoning for the 2nd Street Studios complex is Industrial 1 or I-1. This allows for a wide variety of uses from light manufacturing to retail to art studios to living in the units. I-1 is the most flexible mixed use zoning in Santa Fe and allows every kind of use so long as it does not create toxic or environmental hazards. Sign size and coloring are tightly controlled and a full time maintenance staff maintains the buildings and landscaped courtyards.
